The City Council is taking applications for vacancies on all appointed boards, commissions, and committees created by the Code of Iowa. Applications can be found here or at City Hall. This application process is in an effort to ensure diversity and representation of our community. Submit completed applications to City Hall between 8 am and 4:30 pm. All applicants must be 18 years of age. Most of these boards, commissions, and committees are uncompensated positions. All applications are subject to the open record laws of the State of Iowa.

Jan 26- Apr 12 - VITA - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance - Take advantage
                         of free tax assistance if your income is below $49,000.
                         Thursday & Saturday appointments. Guthrie County
                         Extension Office. Call 641-747-2276 to make appointment.

Feb 23 - All School Reunion meeting - 7 pm - Guthrie Center High School

April, 2012 - Contact Guthrie Center Municipal Utilities if you are interested
